Sweat is similar to CrossFit in its methodology of using constantly varied functional movements performed at high intensity. However, one major difference is that Sweat classes are more focused  on conditioning and less focused on strength. For example, we do not perform the olympic lifts in Sweat, but we do use many of the conditioning movements that CrossFit does. It's a great way to start, since you can jump right in to classes any time without any experience.
